An exciting new technology has resulted in a light source that also provides air purification capabilities, thanks to a special coating that is applied to the glass tubes that produces hydroxyl radicals, a concept called PCO (photo catalytic oxidation), when activated by the light source. The result is a reduction in airborne contaminants and odors. SunLife bulbs utilize this new technology, and combine it with other
unique features including mercury free design, a high Color Rendering Index and a true full spectrum, 5500°  Kelvin color balance.
